Discuss the silver screen magic of the West through stories, film clips and stills of the people, places and scenes of Hollywood in Arizona. Journey to significant sites in Arizona’s movie history near and far and go behind the scenes with classic Westerns, musicals, Indie flicks and more, all filmed on location across the state. Then, put your Arizona film knowledge to the test in a movie trivia contest!

 

SB - Lili DeBarbieri WEBLili DeBarbieri is the author of Location Filming in Arizona and the best-selling travel narrative A Guide to Southern Arizona’s Historic Farms and Ranches, recently named a New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards Finalist. Over the years, DeBarbieri’s writing and photography have appeared in a diverse range of publications including the conservation book The Utah Prairie Dog. She is a local stringer for Agence France-Presse and serves on the Creative Advisory Board of Save Rex Ranch. DeBarbieri holds a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Southern Mississippi and is an active professional in Arizona’s library community.
