This lively and engaging day encouraged participants to learn and reflect on the concept of global citizenship. Girl Scouts hosted booths that shared the histories and cultures of countries located around the world. Under the guidance of the Kawambe-Omowale African Drum and Dance Theatre, the Girl Scouts delivered an interpretive performance that explored the history and tradition of African drumming.

Further, the event speaks to Girl Scouts larger role in building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.” -2015 World Thinking Day Final Report
