Jane Russell-Winiecki presents the history of the forced removal in 1875 of 1,500 Yavapai and Apache from the Rio Verde Indian Reserve to San Carlos.

Come hear one of the oldest instruments of the Southwest played by a talented trio and learn the history of the Hopi long flute.

The internationally acclaimed Jones Benally Family Dance Troupe (Navajo/Dine) performs, led by Jones Benally, a world champion hoop dancer.
November 29, 6 pm: Dinè Women and weaving
Dr. Jen McLerran will provide an overall introduction to the centuries-old art form, decode symbolic iconography, and discuss how this tradition has been passed down from generation to generation.
