2027 Northern Arizona Community Book Reception: Imprints of Honor

The 2027 Northern Arizona Community Book Reception will be a free community event celebrating the
publication of Since You Asked®, a collection of veterans’ oral histories written and produced by students
from Flagstaff High School, Tri-City College Prep, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Valentine
Elementary School. The reception will bring together students, veterans, Gold Star Family members,
educators, families, and community members to hear firsthand accounts of military service and honor the
veterans whose experiences are preserved in the book. Guests will learn how students have connected with
veterans through the program while reflecting on themes of citizenship, service, and sacrifice. Veterans will
sign their service stories for students, families, and guests, creating an opportunity for meaningful
intergenerational connection and recognition.

The reception will be held at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
