On Wednesday, September 23rd, National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Chairman Dr. William “Bro” Adams visited Arizona Humanities for a reception and conversation with local arts and culture leaders. Adams talked about the founding of NEH 50 years ago, and about several initiatives (Common Good, Standing Together) launched since his tenure began in 2014. Audience members introduced themselves and talked about their connections to the humanities and the impact of grants and programs in their communities. We are very appreciative for his time in Arizona, and hope that he returns to the Grand Canyon State!
