Over 100 people attended our first Ghostly Stories program on October 27th at the 98-year old Ellis-Shackelford House (home of Arizona Humanities). Ghouls and goblins alike enjoyed face painting, balloons, crafts, snacks, and storytime. Scary and inspiring costumes were a sight to see!
Marshall Shore, Arizona’s own Hip Historian told local ghost stories from around Arizona, and also showed amazing clips from spooky and bizarre film trailers. Enthusiastic volunteers from BookPALS read stories, and free books were given to every child. Thank you to everyone who attended and volunteered to help make this event so much fun!
