Fans of all ages are invited to the Main Library on Saturday, May 3rd, for the 1st Annual Yuma County Library Comic Con!
Participate in fan panels, games, crafts, and cosplay from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. All attendees will receive a free comic book (while supplies last.) All ages welcome. There is no charge to attend. View the complete Schedule of Events
Keynote speaker Janette Rallison will give two presentations during the afternoon. Ms. Rallison is best known for her light romance novels for young adults, including My Fair Godmother, Just One Wish, and It’s a Mall World After All. She also writes young adult science fiction/fantasy as C. J. Hill and adult romantic novels as Sierra St. James.
1:00-2:00 p.m. “The Adventure Never Ends: How I learned to turn embarrassing moments into award winning novels”
2:30-3:30 p.m. “Plotting a Page Turning Novel”
Books will be available for purchase, and book signings will commence after the presentations.
