SESSION OVERVIEW:Â The Changing the Narrative: K-12 Indigenous Literacy & Literature Symposium is a unique professional learning event that is designed to build Indigenous-serving educators’ capacity for culturally sustaining-revitalizing practices. At this symposium, educators will have the opportunity to learn how to accurately and respectfully integrate Indigenous-authored youth literature into K-12 classrooms. In addition to exploring diverse literature, educators will actively engage in designing lessons and resources.
