Maxine Marshall, Arizona philanthropist, journalist, and longtime family friend of Arizona Humanities Founder Lorraine W. Frank, passed away on June 17 at the age of 89. Maxine, along with her husband Jonathan, were the former co-publishers of the Scottsdale Daily Progress from 1963 to 1987. Their passion and support for arts, culture, education, politics, and more had a profound influence on life in their communities and a fast-growing state. Watch Maxine talk about her friendship with Lorraine W.
