Karl Kendall has worked for the Phoenix Public Library for the past 17 years. In his current role as the Deputy Director of Collections and Programming, Karl oversees the coordination of programs, services, and the purchasing of library materials across this diverse system of 17 Library locations.
Karl shared, “My experience planning and coordinating programming for a large urban public library system has given me many opportunities to share humanities-based programs with the community. More importantly, I have had a lifelong passion for the study of humanities, particularly in the areas of History and Literature. I look forward to helping Arizona Humanities advance its mission!”
