Technological innovations in the early 21st century have promoted the development of genetically modified seeds and foods, as a potential solution to the crisis of world hunger.   Eighty percent of the corn, soy, and cotton cultivated in the U.S. today, is genetically modified. Is GMO seed and food production the best solution to address hunger and food shortages? What are the environmental and agricultural consequences of pervasive GMO seed cultivation in the U.S and abroad? Are GMO’s dangerous? Do GMO’s affect our health and welfare today? Join us for an exploration of the impact of technology on our food and future.
