Announcing Debt of Honor Film Screenings in Cottonwood & Sedona

Join Arizona Humanities, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Verde Valley Librarians for a free screening of the Ric Burns film, Debt of Honor: Disabled Veterans in American History. Each screening is followed by a conversation and Q&A.

  • Friday, December 4 – 1:00 to 4:00pm – Cottonwood Recreation Center (150 S 6th St, Cottonwood, AZ 86326)
  • Monday, December 7 – either 10:00am or 6:00pm at Sedona Public Library (3250 White Bear Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336)

Debt of Honor examines the way in which the American government and society have regarded disabled veterans throughout history, beginning with the Revolutionary War and moving forward to include the current conflicts in the Middle East. Each program features Coffee with a Vet meet & greet with light snacks included. There will also be resource tables present setup for veterans and family members to learn more about services available in the Verde Valley.
