The lecture will focus on the highlights of the solo post-Beatles careers of John, Paul, George and Ringo. We will explore the aftermath of The Beatles legacy and how they established themselves as solo artists. Our journey will also discuss their musical collaborations with each other on many of their solo projects. This lecture will be enhanced by visual backgrounds and short audio clips.
Vincent Bruno is a rock historian with a focus on The Beatles and the Sixties. Mr. Bruno has recently retired as Director of First Year Programs at LaGuardia Community College (City University of New York) a position he has held since 1990. He holds an MPA from Baruch College and as an Adjunct Professor for the past twenty-five years has taught courses in numerous disciplines including Humanities, Management and Cooperative Education. As a Beatles scholar and storyteller he looks to both embrace not just their legacy but to present an entertaining, interactive and informative session for both the casual listener as well as the hard core Beatles fan. He currently resides in Sun City.
